VETERANS’ CANTEEN SERVICES

In 1946 the Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) was created in an effort to provide merchandise and services at reasonable prices for veterans enrolled in the VA healthcare system, their caregivers and healthcare center visitors.

WHAT DOES VCS STORES OFFER?

More than 172 VCS stores may be found across the nation and in Puerto Rico primarily near VA medical centers and outpatient clinics. The retail stores are committed to providing quality goods and services by offering the following goods:

• Health and beauty care products
• Beverages and snacks
• Entertainment/electronics
• Gifts and stationary
• Men and women’s clothing
• Shoes
• Handbags

Additionally, VCS Patriotcafe and coffee shops within medical centers provide a wide selection of foods and a comfortable place for families and veterans to eat. VCS also offers veterans and families the ability to order their products online.
