Ohio Veterans Meeting Offers Forum on Medical Services

CINCINNATI: Area veterans will have a chance to air any concerns and suggestions for improving medical services at a town hall meeting in southwestern Ohio.

The meeting set for Thursday night at the auditorium of the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center is open to veterans, their family members and the general public. Representatives of other organizations serving veterans also may attend.

VA officials say employees will be available to assist veterans with issues including eligibility and the delivery of health care and related services.

The town hall meeting is the second in Cincinnati.
Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald has directed all VA health care and benefits facilities to hold the meetings. Officials say the aim is to improve communication by enabling staff to hear directly from veterans.
