Veterans Affairs Opens Field Offices in Nebraska
Veterans who need help with non-health care U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefits now have easier access to VA Regional Offices counselors.
The VA Regional Office in Lincoln has opened field offices at VAs Grand Island, Lincoln and Omaha health care facilities.
Regional office employees can assist veterans with questions about VA non-health care benefits, check the status of pending service-connected disability claims and help with eBenefits enrollment. Regional office employees also can assist veterans to complete applications for VA benefits.
The schedule for each site is:
* Omaha VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Ave., Room 1103, Tuesdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Lincoln VA Clinic, 600 S. 70th St., Room B20, Tuesdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Grand Island VA Clinic, 2201 N. Broadwell Ave., Room S518, Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
