VETS NATIONAL ADVOCATES ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Mattar scholarship winnersVets National Advocates is excited to announce the winners of its annual academic scholarship and annual merit scholarship.

Congratulations to Tyler Skala of Elizabethtown, Kentucky who will receive a $2,500 scholarship to continue his educational pursuits. Skala will be taking online education courses while deployed with the Army outside of the U.S. in the Caribbean.

The Vets National Advocates Annual Academic Scholarship winners were to be determined by social media voting. The two qualified entrants, Carolyn Broz of Merrimac, Massachusetts and Thomas Kellner of Getzville, New York, will each be receiving a $500 scholarship.

Broz is the daughter of a Navy veteran and will be attending the State University of New York in Albany. She is very active in veteran community events. Kellner is an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan and received several service-related medals. He will be using his scholarship at Canisius College.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and best of luck in your educational pursuits!
