VA Offering Free Flu Shot Clinic for Veterans Oct. 14-Nov. 14
Veterans enrolled for health care through the VA will be able to receive a flu shot at a walk-in clinic at VA Park, near Building 11 at the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS).
The clinic will operate from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 14 to Nov. 14, except on Veterans Day.
According to the VA, veterans will be able to park near the clinic on Veterans Loop Road and Parade Grounds Drive, and may walk to the clinic or get a ride from a free shuttle van.
The clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on Veteran’s Day.
The flu shot is also currently available during patients’ scheduled appointments.
